Herbalife is a popular brand throughout the world and they are a renowned global nutrition company.  Herbalife launched its skincare line HerbaLife SKIN in India. during October, 2014. The Face of the Brand is Heena Sindhu, India’s ace pistol shooter. There were 10 unisex products launched that claimed to polish, hydrate, replenish and improve appearance of skin.

The range includes Soothing Aloe Cleanser, Polishing Citrus Cleanser, Energizing Herbal Toner, Line Minimizing Serum, Firming Eye Gel, Hydrating Eye Cream, Daily Glow Moisturizer, Replenishing Night Cream, Instant Reveal Berry Scrub and Purifying Mint Clay Mask.

Herbalife also offers three personalized skin care programs to namely – Basic, Advanced and Ultimate which addresses your skin care concerns. I was sent five products from their range to take the Herbalife 7 day challenge. Lets see the details of each product and their results.

My Take on the Products:

All the products come in their professional minimal standard packaging. The bottles are so sleek and travel friendly. The shape of the bottles is like water droplet design. They are housed in an airless pump form. The  products are numbered and you kust need to apply them in that order. Absolutely no confusion, especially because all the details are mentioned overleaf.

Herbalife SKIN’s Hydrating Eye Cream is a smooth cream with the consistency of a whipped mousse. It felt so soothing under my eyes after a hectic tiring day. This can be applied at might after cleansing. The cream helped me to get rid off my under eye puffiness and bags due to tiredness and slight discolouration. I am not sure how it works on lines and wrinkles as I dont have any. I apply this cream gently by patting with my fingers. I sleep with this cream on. With key ingredients like Macadamia Nut oil, Cucumber and Aloe Vera, this cream hydrates and soothes the eye area. In 7 days time I saw a decent improvement. The eye area was firm and bright. Ofcourse, not dull or tired like before. It softenes the eye area as I wake up from my beauty sleep.

Herbalife SKIN’s Firming Eye Gel can be used during the day around the eye. It is refreshing due to aloe and cucumber. The cream targets at firming the eye area. It takes the form of a  transparent gel which is optamologically tested. A minute sized amount is enough. Please take care you dont use more amount of the product. It gets absorbed soon. It is easy to spread as well. I love its cooling properties. It is so refreshing.

Herbalife SKIN’s Line minimizing serum can be applied on skin both in the morning and evening. It is formulated with ingredients like vitamin B3, C, E, antioxidants, chestnut seed extracts and peptides. The serum  reduces the lines and works to control vital signs of ageing. I feel 7 days is less to judge this one but it acts as a nice nourishing agent.

Herbalife Skin’s Daily Glow Moisturizer contains ingredients like Vitamin B3, antioxidant Vitamins C and E and Aloe Vera, Sunflower seed oil, Spilanthes Acmella Flower Extract, Macadamia nut oil, Olive oil and Sesame seed oil. It acts as an all purpose lotion that can be used to boost your skin with light moisture. It has illuminating properties.  This is a thick white colored water based cream that goes light on skin.

Herbalife Skin’s Replenishing Night Cream is exclusively formulated with Vitamins B3, antioxidant Vitamins C and E and Aloe Vera, Sunflower seed oil, Macadamia seed oil, Olive fruit oil, Sesame seed oil and Spilanthes Acmella Flower Extracts. It is a rich, luxurious cream that retains the moisture to the skin at night. Long-term hydration allows you to awaken with softer, smoother skin.It is light yellow in color.

All the products have a fragrance that is light and pleasant. None of the products irritated my skin.The ingredient list is impressive. Most of the products in this range are light weighted and water based. The products suit all skin types and is tailored for both men and women.

I am not a fan of layering because my skin is sensitive. Those who have skin types like mine will feel using all the products together at once as heavy. So you can skip one or two with similar properties. My skin hasnt broke out during this challenge session. None of the products clogged my pores.

These products should be used daily. At the end of 7 days, the radiance and glow is darn visible. I cant comment much on the wrinkle part. My skin is super soft and smooth. There was a definite improvement in texture and complexion. I can see reduction in pores, acne, redness, spots and tanning. This stuff really works! My skin feels healthier.
